How do I book?
Complete our booking form here and allow 48 hours for a P+P team member to reach out and confirm availability. Please note we cannot accommodate parties larger than 8. Once confirmed, we will send an invoice for your review with payment instructions. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm your event date, with full payment due 5 days out from your event.
Do you provide any food or beverage services?
Pillows + Picnics does not provide any food or beverage— We set up the backdrop and place settings so you can bring and enjoy whatever you like in comfort!
Please get in touch with and order directly through your food & beverage vendors for you to pick up/have delivered to your picnic! Email us for a list of local recommendations.
Where can I picnic?
Due to current Covid-19 regulations, gathering locations in public areas are limited, and as such, we highly suggest holding your picnic in a private outdoor area of your choosing. If you are interested in setting up a picnic in a public space, please email us for a list of locations we can accommodate.
Can you set up picnics outside of Monterey?
We are happy to travel to surrounding areas within 25 miles to bring a picnic to you! An additional charge will be added to your invoice to cover travel time and mileage should the location be outside of our radius. Please email us for more information!
What is your cancellation policy?
All deposits are non-refundable as we have held your event date on our calendar. Should plans change, please contact us no later than 5 days prior to your scheduled date. We are happy to apply your 50% deposit towards rescheduling your picnic to another date within 6 months. Events cancelled where the invoice has already been paid in full, are unable to be refunded and rescheduling will be done on a case-by-case basis.
What if it rains?
In the event that rain or inclement weather is forecasted within the 72 hours leading up to your reservation, we will get in contact with the option to either move your picnic to an indoor location or apply your deposit to a rescheduled date within 6 months.
Can I leave my picnic early / before the end of my scheduled session?
Clients are responsible for P+P items during the picnic and may not leave it unattended. If you’d like to leave earlier than the end of your scheduled booking time, please give us a 30-minute notice via text or phone call. We also reserve the right to pack up if you are more than 30 minutes late.
What Covid-19 safety guidelines are in place?
Pillows + Picnics is taking extra precaution to ensure the health and safety of our clients. We are operating on the following sanitation guidelines:
All blankets and pillows will be washed in between bookings (specialty pillows will be dry cleaned)
All tableware will be cleaned and sanitized between bookings
All surfaces will be cleaned with an EPA approved disinfectant
Gloves and masks will be worn by our team at all times during set up and breakdown
Clients will be asked to show up wearing their mask until the P+P set-up team has left.
